Flame-proof motors are generally recommended where an explosive atmosphere prevails due to the presence of inflammable gases, dust or floating particles in the air. The construction of flame-proof motors is such that it prevents sparks from emitting outside the motor enclosure and thus, avoids contact with the outside explosive atmosphere. LHP offers a wide range of flame-proof motors in the efficiencies IE2, IE3 and IE4 and complies with the IS\/ IEC\/ EN 60079-1 standards. Flame-proof motors from LHP are designed to operate in Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 21 and Zone 22 and Gas groups I, IIA, IIB & IIC and are suitable for the temperature classes up to T6.<\/p>\n
